Fall in Delaware fills up fast. Here’s what’s already on the books, straight from the venues and organizers.
At The Grand in downtown Wilmington: An Evening of Artistic Magic presented by Communities In Schools of Delaware (Sep 12), Molly Tuttle (Sep 18), Welcome Back My Friends – An Evening with Emerson, Lake & Palmer (Sep 19), Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs (Sep 25) and Samara Joy and Her Septet (Sep 27). Broadway in Wilmington then opens its 2026-2027 season with THE WIZ at The Playhouse, October 23-25 – the show’s first return since 1978.

At the Delaware Art Museum: Pyle and the Pre-Raphaelites opens September 5 and runs through January 24, 2027 in Galleries 11 and 12, free with admission.

In Delaware City: Delaware City Day returns Saturday, October 3 in Battery Park, with the city marking its 200th year and fireworks at dusk.
In Dover: Delaware State University and the Biggs Museum of American Art are running a monthly series at the historic Schwartz Center for the Arts every third Thursday through March 2027.
